Hey it's Jeff, and today I'm going to share with you the 3-step system I used to overcome Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) naturally…
Note: I suggest you watch the video version of this newsletter above, but if you're a reader, then that's what this written section is for :)
This is exactly how I went from bedridden, basically living in hospital beds, to getting my life back in just a few short months including:
- being able to go back to working at a high level again
- rebuilding my health and being able to work out and surf again
- being able to see my friends and family again
- and being able to do the stuff I used to love – all my hobbies again

Quick disclaimer: No, I’m not a doctor, this is NOT medical advice, just my experience. But I DO know what it’s like to have your life put on hold by chronic fatigue, and more importantly, I know how to beat it, even when some doctors say it’s incurable.
So with that said, let’s get started...
Before we get started, here's why I created this system…
In case we haven't met yet, hey my name’s Jeff..
And before CFS, I was a high performer in business health and life.
Business-wise, I was a successful consultant –I helped thousands build their businesses.
Health-wise I worked out or surfed daily, ate pretty healthy* (I put an asterisk there because I liked to have cocktails back in the day) and I managed my stress and recovery pretty well.
Lifestyle-wise I traveled full-time, took my lady to dinner nightly, never missed the sunset, and ended each night dancing, playing guitar, or sitting by a fire with friends.
I designed and was living an awesome beautiful life, until chronic fatigue took that beautiful life away.
Losing it all and hitting rock bottom…
I got the vax, which sparked my CFS, and my health declined for 3 years until I was bedridden for months.
At my worst, I was struggling with: chronic fatigue, pain, brain fog, anxiety attacks, digestion issues, body shakes, sensory sensitivity, insomnia, depression, and the list goes on.
You can watch my last video on my YouTube channel to see my in-depth backstory, but basically it was a sh%t-show. I wasted years and thousands on toxic medications, experimental treatments and hospital visits, but nothing worked.
Eventually chronic fatigue took everything from me:
- I couldn't work
- I couldn't move
- I couldn't see friends
- I couldn't take my girl out to dinner
Basically life sucked.
So if you're struggling right now I know exactly how you feel (because I lived through it too).
The turning point and finding hope…
I realized I couldn't keep waiting for the medical system to save me…
I had to take control of my recovery.
As I spent my 35th birthday bedridden (just like I had been for the previous 3 months), I blew out the candles I made a promise to myself:
“I'm going to heal from this or die trying. I won't spend another birthday like this!”
The next day I started searching Google and YouTube for things like:
- How do I heal CFS?
- What’s the best treatment for Covid?
- How do I cure chronic fatigue?
And that's when I found stories of people who'd recovered from chronic fatigue and gotten their lives back.
Their stories gave me hope…
If they could heal, so could I.
Honestly, that's the big takeaway I want you to get from this: if I could heal, so can you.
Coming up with a recovery plan…
I noticed something the success stories had in common: a science-backed technique called “brain retraining.”
Basically, here’s how it works: brain retraining fixes the root cause of chronic fatigue, which is a glitch in how your brain and nervous system communicate.
This was what I was missing!
I realized if I could master brain retraining, I could fix that glitch, I could finally heal, and life could go back to normal.
So I came up with a plan to act on this realization:
- First, I looked online and hired a coach I vibed with who specialized in brain retraining for chronic fatigue...
- Then, I outlined a three-step recovery plan for myself (which I'm going to share with you in a moment)...
- Last, I committed to following the plan every day tracking my progress weekly and adjusting as needed.
Every day was a battle, but at least this time, for the first time, I had hope.
Recovering and sharing the system…
Slowly but surely, I progressed each week…
And within months I overcame chronic fatigue naturally and got my life back!
I was back to work full-time, back to seeing friends and family, back to taking my lady out, back to working out, back to walking over 10,000 steps a day, and back to surfing.
I was so fired up to be able to do all this stuff again!
After I healed my purpose evolved…
For close to 10 years, I found fulfillment in helping people build their businesses–I loved that, it felt like my purpose…
But now since I've healed, I feel like my purpose has evolved…
Now, I'm on a mission to help 10,000 high performers overcome chronic fatigue regain their health and achieve total wellness, by sharing the system that gave me my life back.
My vision for making this happen is I’m going to be sharing free actionable insights in my weekly newsletter and YouTube videos. Also I'll be offering one-to-one mentorship for those who want personalized support.
So that's the big mission, the vision, and the backstory on why I created this system, and I'd love for you to be a part of it by helping spread the word, becoming a subscriber, or by becoming a client.
Now, here's how the system works...
I call it the CFS to Wellness system. I call it that because it takes you from your current state of struggling with: CFS, Long COVID or chronic fatigue, and it takes you to your desired state: where you've achieved total wellness, where you have your life back and you can do all the things you love to do again.
And like I said earlier, there are 3 main steps to this system...
Step 1: Rewire Your Brain
The first and most crucial step in overcoming chronic fatigue is to rewire your brain. You see, at the root of CFS, long COVID, and other chronic fatigue conditions is a glitch in how your brain and nervous system communicate. This leads to a state of chronic stress and inflammation that perpetuates your symptoms.
That's why the very first thing I did in my recovery journey was to focus on calming my nervous system, removing negative thought patterns, and using brain retraining techniques to kickstart the healing process. Without addressing this foundational issue, any other efforts to regain your health will be an uphill battle.
- Calm Your Nervous System: When you're in the throes of chronic fatigue, your body is stuck in a state of fight-or-flight. Learning how to activate your parasympathetic nervous system and enter a state of rest and digest is essential for healing.
- Remove Negative Patterns: As high-performers, many of us have developed unhealthy thought and behavior patterns that contribute to stress and burnout. Identifying and replacing these patterns is a critical part of the brain rewiring process.
- Use Brain Retraining: Specialized brain retraining techniques, such as those taught by the Gupta Program, can help you recalibrate the communication between your brain and body. This was the single most impactful step in my recovery, accounting for 80% of my success.
Without a doubt, rewiring your brain has to be the first step in your chronic fatigue recovery journey. It lays the foundation for all the other healing work you'll do.
Step 2: Regain Your Health
With your brain and nervous system on the path to healing, the next step is to focus on regaining your overall health through a holistic approach. This involves optimizing your recovery, nutrition, and movement - in that order.
Optimize Your Recovery
When I was at my worst with chronic fatigue, I was an insomniac, only able to sleep 4 hours per night. This lack of quality rest was a major barrier to my healing. Once I dialed in my sleep and recovery protocols, everything started to shift.
Prioritizing your sleep, rest, and recovery is absolutely essential for overcoming chronic fatigue. This might mean establishing a consistent sleep routine, using relaxation techniques, or even experimenting with advanced recovery modalities like neuro-feedback or compression boots (which I've found to be incredibly helpful).
Optimize Your Nutrition
Nutrition is the next piece of the puzzle. When I was at my worst, my digestion was a complete mess - I was relying on enemas just to function. It wasn't until I worked with holistic nutrition coaches to dial in an anti-inflammatory diet that I started to see real progress.
For those struggling with chronic fatigue, an anti-inflammatory, gut-healing diet is key. This might mean eliminating trigger foods, increasing your intake of nutrient-dense whole foods, and working to restore balance to your gut microbiome.
Optimize Your Movement
The final piece of the health optimization puzzle is movement. At my lowest point, I was only able to manage 300-400 steps per day - and many of those were just me crawling around. But by carefully pacing and gradually increasing my activity, I was able to work my way back up to full-fledged workouts and surfing.
For those with chronic fatigue, the key is to start small and track your progress. Invest in a wearable device like an apple watch, Whoop or Oura Ring to get a baseline on your current activity levels, then focus on slowly and safely increasing your steps each week. This paced approach is essential for avoiding setbacks and burnout.
Step 3: Reclaim Your Life
With your brain rewired and your health regained, the final step is to reclaim the life you once had. This means making strategic lifestyle shifts to get back to work, rebuild your relationships, and rediscover the hobbies and passions that bring you joy.
Reclaim Your Work
As a high-performer, the financial and professional impact of chronic fatigue can be devastating. For example, when I was bedridden, my monthly income plummeted from $50,000 to just a few thousand dollars. Regaining the ability to work at a high level was crucial for my overall wellbeing and sense of purpose.
The key is to start small and slowly increase your work capacity. I began by working for just 5 minutes per day, then gradually built up to 2 hours, and eventually 6-8 hours per day - my sweet spot. By taking a paced, sustainable approach, I was able to reclaim my professional life without triggering setbacks.
Reclaim Your Relationships
Chronic fatigue can also take a heavy toll on your personal relationships. I lost touch with most of my friends during my 3-year battle, and even my relationship with my wife suffered, as I couldn't bear to be touched for months at a time.
Rebuilding your social life requires a gentle, intentional approach. You'll need to learn how to communicate your needs and limitations to loved ones, while also slowly reintegrating into your social circle.
Reclaim Your Passions
Finally, as you regain your health and reclaim your life, it's time to rediscover the hobbies, interests, and experiences that bring you joy. For me, this meant reconnecting with activities like surfing, playing guitar, and traveling - things I had forgotten I even enjoyed during the depths of my chronic fatigue.
Don't be afraid to experiment and try new things as well. Your interests and passions may have evolved during your recovery journey, and this is the perfect time to explore and find new sources of fulfillment.
Putting It All Together
There you have it - the 3-step system I used to overcome chronic fatigue naturally and reclaim my life. By rewiring my brain, regaining my health, and reclaiming my lifestyle, I was able to go from bedridden to thriving in just a few short months.
