Are you struggling with chronic fatigue and wondering why you feel so tired and exhausted everyday?
In this newsletter I’ll share the root cause of chronic fatigue (CFS), how I finally started healing, and how you can too.
In case we haven’t met yet, hey I’m Jeff, and I was able to overcome chronic fatigue syndrome naturally in months, after struggling for over 3 years.
But before I figured this out, I tried every supplement. Every diet. Every bio-hack I could find. I spent tens of thousands on doctors, specialists, ran every test under the sun… and they all came back ‘normal.’ But I didn’t feel normal. In fact, I was just getting worse and worse. Eventually, my symptoms of chronic fatigue, pain, brain fog, and anxiety had gotten so bad that at my worst I was bedridden for 3 months straight, unable to move.
But then I learned something that changed everything. I learned about the root cause of chronic fatigue and realized I had just been chasing the symptoms, not trying to heal the root cause. And once I started focusing on root cause, that changed everything. So in this newsletter, I’m going to break down the root cause of chronic fatigue and show you exactly how I healed.

Why understanding the root cause of chronic fatigue matters...
Most people with chronic fatigue syndrome fall into the trap of chasing symptoms rather than healing the underlying issue. They jump from one diet to another, spend thousands on tests and treatments, and rest endlessly—only to feel stuck in the same cycle of exhaustion.
Here’s why understanding the root cause is essential:
- Without fixing the root cause, nothing sticks. Supplements, diets, and rest may offer temporary relief, but they won’t lead to lasting healing.
- You are not broken. Your body isn’t failing you; it’s simply following the wrong instructions. The problem is a glitch in your system, not a broken machine.
- Recovery is possible. Your brain and body are designed to heal. The key lies in rewiring faulty signals that keep you trapped in chronic fatigue.
Recognizing these truths can save you time, money, and frustration on treatments that don’t address the core issue.
The root cause of chronic fatigue...
The root cause of chronic fatigue syndrome boils down to one fundamental issue: a glitch in how your brain and nervous system communicate.
This glitch can be triggered by various catalysts, including:
- Illness or infection
- Stress or trauma
- Nutrient deficiencies
- Overwork or burnout
- Vaccinations or other medical events
Regardless of the trigger, the effect is the same. Your nervous system becomes stuck in survival mode, unable to balance between activity (fight or flight) and recovery (rest and digest). Instead, it remains locked in a chronic stress state.
Think of it like a faulty alarm system that keeps ringing even when there’s no actual danger. Your body is constantly signaling “danger” and responding with stress, which drains your energy and causes symptoms such as:
- Persistent fatigue
- Brain fog
- Anxiety
- Chronic pain
- Sleep disturbances
No matter how much rest you get, your body feels exhausted because it’s stuck in this hyper-alert state. The good news is, this is not permanent. The glitch can be fixed by retraining your brain and nervous system to communicate properly again.
The path to recovery: how I healed from chronic fatigue...
Once I understood that chronic fatigue stems from a communication glitch between the brain and nervous system, I created a clear, step-by-step path to recovery. I call it the CFS to Wellness System, and it’s designed to take you from the depths of chronic fatigue back to thriving wellness.
Here’s an overview of the three essential steps I followed to heal naturally:
Step 1: Rewire your brain...
The first and most important step is calming your nervous system and removing negative patterns through brain retraining techniques. This step is critical because it addresses the root cause—the glitch in brain-nervous system communication.
By rewiring your brain, you help your nervous system exit survival mode and return to a balanced state where healing can begin. I attribute about 80% of my recovery success to this step alone.
It might sound simple, but sequence matters here. If you skip this step and jump straight into other treatments, your body remains stuck in chronic stress, and healing stalls.
Step 2: Regain your health...
Once your brain and nervous system start to communicate properly, the next step is to support your body with a holistic approach focusing on:
- Optimal nutrition tailored to your needs
- Gentle movement and exercise designed to rebuild strength
- Quality sleep and rest to support recovery
Many people try to start here without rewiring their brain first, which often leads to frustration. I spent tens of thousands on holistic nutrition coaches before I realized I was going out of sequence. When done in the right order, this step helps your body regain vitality and energy.
Step 3: Reclaim your life...
The final step is about getting back to the life you love. This means:
- Returning to work and being productive for the hours you desire
- Rebuilding relationships with friends and family
- Enjoying hobbies and activities that bring you joy
During my worst days, I lost many friendships because I simply didn’t have the energy to maintain them. I also forgot what I loved doing—surfing, art, music—all of which felt out of reach. Reclaiming your life means restoring these important parts of yourself and embracing freedom again.
For many of us, especially entrepreneurs or high performers, being able to work and provide financially is crucial to overall freedom. Reclaiming your life includes regaining that independence and balance.
Why this system works...
Some might think this approach is too simple, but simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. The CFS to Wellness System works because it targets the core problem first and then supports your body and lifestyle in the right order.
Remember, your body is not broken—it’s just stuck following the wrong instructions. By fixing the glitch in your brain-nervous system communication, you unlock your body’s natural ability to heal.
